Have you ever felt like you're juggling a thousand tasks at your charity?
Donors to remember, grants to apply for, beneficiaries to support – it can all feel a bit overwhelming. That's where we come in, but have you ever wondered why we're called On Radar?
The truth is, our name has a bit of a history. We originally set out with a grand vision: Charity Radar. It perfectly captured our mission – to be a central hub where charities could keep track of everything important.
But, as with many great ideas, there was a snag. Companies House, the official body overseeing company registration in the UK, deemed "charity" a reserved word. Our dreams of Charity Radar were put on hold.
But we weren't deterred! We brainstormed new names, all focused on the core value we bring to charities – keeping things organised and visible. After much deliberation, On Radar emerged. It resonated with us for several reasons:
So, there you have it! The story behind why we're On Radar. It's a name that reflects our commitment to helping charities stay organised and focused and, ultimately, achieve greater impact. We believe that every charity deserves to have their incredible work be "on radar," and we're here to provide the tools and support to make that happen.
Now that you know our story, we invite you to explore On Radar and discover how it can help your charity stay on top of things and reach new heights!
